WAS : What does scan status "Service Errors Detected" mean? What could be the possible cause for this .
I want to emphasize the importance of reviewing QID 150018 in the scan report. It provides some detailed suggestions on what to check in this situation.
Additionally, keep in mind there's now a setting in the WAS option profile that allows you to define a custom scan intensity. With this you can set a delay between requests to really dial down the scan intensity to a very low level. In some cases this could help prevent timeouts or connection errors.
"Service Error Detected" status indicates that many HTTP requests from the WAS scanner either timed out or were rejected by the web server. More details are available under QID 150018. You can also monitor web server logs as to why those requests timed out or were rejected. There also may be something (device, WAF, IDS/IPS, rules, etc.) that is interfering with the HTTP requests and the web application. Hope this helps.
