Hello All,
In Policy Compliance, I have some "actives" and "inactive" exceptions.... and I can't modify this parameter (i.e I can't modify an inactive exception to an active exception).
Does Everyone know what Active/Inactive parameters means? Which criterias are applied in PC for modifying an active exception to be inactive?
I have searched informations in documentation but without find anything.
Thanks in advance for your help
Cyrille
Thanks to Hariom Singh who gave me the answer that I copy here for every body:
Essentially, if the scan authentication fails during compliance task processing, host-control records associated with that host are deleted. As a result of which if there are any exceptions, it can no longer be linked to host-control record and thus becomes inactive.
Inactive exceptions are not taken into account while determining the posture of a control; also users are not allowed to perform any edit actions.
In futures releases, it will be possible to reactivate such inactives exceptions upon a next successful host authentication.
Best regards,
Cyrille
