Attempting to run an SSL test on mail.hollandbloorview.ca however I continue to get the response 'Unable to resolve domain name'. Not what the issue is as the DNS for the site is working fine.
Your DNS provider, register.com, was failing to resolve DNS queries from some locations for a short period yesterday. Emails to register.com addresses were bouncing back with a "fatal error" error message and the phones were not being answered. Please take this issue up with your registrar.
is it a new url? Maybe not all DNS know it yet.Beside this, SSLLabs can resolve it now
The URL is not new, and I have a monthly task to run against it to verify it has a good rating. I did now test it again and even cleared the cached report and it did work properly so I wonder if this was just an issue with SSL Labs for a brief time? I was starting to worry we had DNS replication issues.
Anyone ever seen this happen before?
Hi Greg,Domain resolution failure is not acceptable if it is a valid domain with valid DNS entries. As shared by Rob and tested by me it working for both our prod and dev server please continue to use it. If you face any issue on any of the servers then please let us know so that we will check with our network team for the same.Regards,Nauman Shah
