Hi guys, is there any way to create a user with permission to a module without giving permission to VM or PC module?
I would like to create a user with only permission to AssetView.
Individual user permissions for VM, PC, and SCA can be granted within the user's permission tab.
The Administration Utility (last option in the app picker) can be used to view and manage users and grant access to applications like WAS, WAF, CA, CM, SAQ, etc. On the User Management tab, you'll see the applications each user has access to. Access is role based.
See below link for more details on controlling user access permissions:
So it means I can't create a user with only permission to the Asset View, right?
Is there a reason why you don't want to give the user access to the VM module? When they login, normally it will take you to the VM Dashboard.
Nothing special, only try to apply principle of least privilege
Administration module would be the place you want to go. However, I am not sure you can exclusively remove them from the VM module. You can make their permission very low in the VM module.
That's also my thought. Thanks buddy!
