Qualys picking up previous kernel version?

A quick question to confirm: I want to know that we have ran scan's based on ALL EC2 instances, when ever we are patching the Environment's whether this is DEV/SIT/TEST etc...


However, once all these been patched with latest updates and packages: My question is when you run the scan and report again on the patched environment, why does Qualys  picks up the previous "kernel" version, although there is a the latest kernel version applied on the instance or several instances?


Is this an issue with Qualys, or is this a normal behaviour resulting in finding ALL version's that exist on the instances?
