Has Qualys started to develop the ability to auth to phones? Or are you suggested they put in a FR?
Well, I have submitted a case for the phones that I want to id (model numbers) because after the scan, Qualys that they were HP iLO. I scanned some others in a different area and no OS was listed. So Qualys didn't even try to guess at the phones.
I don't have access to an IP Phone at present but wondering if they support SNMP authentication? Maybe this might return enough information???
I'm curious if this is possible as well. Our scanners have successfully identified the phones as a "Cisco IP Phone" with an unauthenticated scan. But we would like to go further and do an authenticated scan.
