Updated / Installed INTEL-SA-00166 per report and still the reports comeback negative.

Same thing is happening over here. The detection of the driver version being bad goes away and it still flags with that exe existing. I think its a false positive personally.
I currently have a case open with Qualys Support to have the detection logic updated where the scanner will check if the .exe exists and then check if the correct .dll version is installed.
