Clarification on how the key exchange score is calculated

Question asked by Fergus Nelson on Oct 9, 2018

From the scoring guide documentation I understand how each cipher suite is given a key exchange score, but it is not clear how these scores are combined to give the overall score. The cipher score uses

  1. Start with the score of the strongest cipher.
  2. Add the score of the weakest cipher.
  3. Divide the total by 2.

Is something similar used for key exchange?
