SSL Server test and non-standard ports

Excuse me if this has been discussed elsewhere. I have searched through the postings in the forum and I can't find any discussion of the matter.

So, I'd like to request that the Secure Website test be able to run against servers on non-standard ports. The reason for this is that many services are now written as standalone http servers which listen on dedicated ports. There are also occasional needs to run a secondary https server on the same server so you find https on port 444 or 4443.

Is there any reason not to allow non standard ports? I would certainly like to be able to check out some services we use which I suspect are not up to date.
