Do the number of vulnerabilities displayed in WAS Dashboard are having any time limit? Whether it displays only the vulnerabilities present for the last six months or it displays the count from the beginning of the scan
There is no time limit. The vulnerabilities in the WAS dashboard do not consider the age of the findings. It only looks at the current status of a detection and whether or not it was marked "ignore". In other words, the vuln counts would reflect all detections that are New, Active, or Re-Opened and aren't ignored.
I hope that helps.
Thank you Dave. Is there any way we can change the dashboard to display the vulnerabilities detected within last 6 months only. Retesting the vulnerabilities which are older than 6 months , we need TAM approval and getting appropriate scan time to retest them from stakeholders is tough considering on-going scans
The WAS dashboard can be customized, but the functionality is pretty limited right now. You can restrict the dashboard so it only shows data for certain web apps, which is done using tags. Hover your mouse over the word "Dashboard" and you'll see a "Change..." link appear.
There is a long term plan to implement a fully configurable dashboard in WAS (similar to AssetView), but there's no timeline on that currently.
For your immediate need, try using the "Last Detected" filter on the Detections tab. There is an "All Dates After" option that would work to show you only the findings that have been detected within the last 6 months.
