I've recently gotten "Unable to connect to the server " from many many web pages.
I tried testing my ISP and got " Assessment failed: Unable to connect to the server "
I asked my ISP's support and got this reply:
An SSL certificate is something maintained by the website creates. Looks like it expired today. I would make sure your computer is up to date, make sure the date and time is correct, clear your cache and if all else fails, contact the website owners.
This seemed to miss the point -- the support guy's not understanding that the ISP he works for might have the problem.
Is there a way to better explain this error message?
