How should i proceed to scan an angularjs application with username and password. I tried with standard authentication and smartscan option enabled but that did not help.
Have you tried setting up a Selenium script? Where OS are you authenticating from? I recommend that you authenticate from a Linux environment first. My reasoning is that sometimes the authentication is passing an NTLM credential from Windows and you may not see it. From Linux if this happens you will get a prompt for the credentials.
But you can install the Selenium IDE into Firefox on Linux to help you build the script; let me know if you need assistance as I have a lot of these but it seems to work very well. The fact that it is Angular should not be an issue.
Can you please log a support ticket with details on your application and valid credentials for the login form? Standard authentication should work with you angular application. If you are running in to issues with standard authentication, we would like to fix it in our upcoming releases. Authentication via selenium script would be a good alternative that you should try . Use the Selenium IDE, create the script and upload the script to launch you scan with the selenium authentication.
