In addition to the Java tests, could you please add lines for .NET 4.0 and .NET 4.6 ciphers? It'd be useful to know what will be negotiated with them, and whether I am breaking compatibility.
Hi James, cipher suite selection and negotiation in the .NET Framework is handled by the operating system's SSL/TLS library, in this case Windows Schannel. The behavior you'll see will depend on which version of Windows the .NET Framework application is running on. You can find the list of default cipher suites for each Windows operating system version here.

The TLS 1.0 restriction does change what ciphers get negotiated, though. It would be nice to know what an XP client or Windows 7 client using .NET 4.0 would be using.
