Generating Policy Compliance Report for multiple technologies in one report

I am running Policy compliance scan for some systems - these are a mix of Windows server 2008 / Windows 7 / Linux etc OSes. I use the CIS Policies as the benchmark

I am facing issues in generating reports for these scans - When I am generating reports I am able to generate individual reports based on Operating systems, But if I want a report that includes all the systems with mix of OSes it doesnt happen

I am creating CIS policies - one for each operating system

I add the asset group (asset group is created based on Operating System) to the corresponding policy

Now I run the report

This report has details for the one type of OS which I added in the policy

But I would like to create a report which includes all the systems that I am scanning - it might be a mix of OSes

I am trying to create a blank policy, add all the asset groups and required technologies to it. But controls are not getting added - I can add controls individually - but adding 100s of controls would be a tedious one

Is there an efficient way to do this ?
