Ignoring a vuln/ticket for large number of hosts for a QID

I have several hundred devices that our operations team, after working with the vendor, says isn't relevant for our existing setup.  Therefore, they are requesting that they get the QID/Vuln for the hosts to be 'ignored' so that they dont show up in the reporting anymore.  What is the best method to tackle this sort of 'mass update'?  I initially thought that through the Asset Search screen I could check-box all the resulting assets and click the little red-cross icon to apply a change to all the assets but it doesn't appear to work that way.


Looking for any input as I believe this mass update process is going to occur more and more from our service provider.
