Hi, i have a URL which has http and https page.
Can i scan both URLs in one single scan or how should i configure the scan so that it will scan both http and https page?
If these 2 URLs are part indeed of the same web application, you just need to edit your web application configuration as shown in attached screenshot:
The Explicit URLs to Crawl value is not necessary if your http://www.abc.com page does include a link to the HTTPs page. But you can put it to make sure the scan will crawl this page too.
Hope this helps, let us know if you have any other questions.
I am trying to crawl a web site that goes from http to https, but when I try to input the explicit web URL to crawl, it doesn't fit on one line and wraps around to the next line after the question mark, but this is the specific URL that must be crawled: https://mywebsite.fakewebesite.com/insider/thelogin/?AppURL=http://thewebsite.fakewebesite.com/ThisFolder/Default.aspx
Any recommendation on how to address this issue?
In this case it appears that the issue is not with the url running into two lines, but that the link in your explicit urls to crawl does not comply with starting URL and scope defined. Can you please double check this and let me know how that works.
